This is one of my favorite charts, recently updated again and highlights all the different segments of the online display advertising market. Now compare that to TV - the digital space is just a tiny bit more complicated...

Facebook launches a 160x600 display unit - but why??

Just saw this on Facebook today - http://screencast.com/t/5gn4ttek75U - why are they adding a 160x600 ad unit to their newsfeed page? Advertiser request-  doubt it. Opportunity to increase bulk/ remnant ad sales - probably yes. And 160x600 units are somewhat scarce...

 

Interesting move nonetheless - but maybe this is just a test
