Zagat now available free, as part of Google+ Local

I just received this email from Zagat - Google has decided to make all Zagat reviews available free.. but only on Google+ - an attempt to get people to use the service for their local needs; hopefully they'll integrate Zagat into Google maps soon which to me would be far more useful than having to go to the rather silent and somewhat clunky Google+ for some user-generated reviews from Zagat...

We are excited to tell you about the launch of Google+ Local, a new, simpler way to discover and share great places and local businesses on Google. Zagat, who was acquired by Google back in September, is the fundamental cornerstone of this new Google+ Local initiative. This means that full Zagat ratings and reviews will now be accessible on Google to anyone who has a free Google+ account. You can also continue to access Zagat content on zagat.com without charge.
